Bridge over Port Milena - Ulcinj

Chief designer: Duško Bobera dipl.inž.građ.

Bridge over Port Milena channel is connection between Ulcinj Boulevard and road for Ada Bojana. This connection increases traffic volume and decreases traffic jams which usually appear during summer touristic season.

Bridge cross section has 4 traffic lanes 3.25m wide each, 2.0m wide median and pedestrian sidewalks on both sides whose width is 2.65m. Total bridge cross section width is 20.3m. Bridge spans are 34,0 + 2 x 44,0 + 40,6 + 56,0 + 43,6 + 46,0 + 37,0 = 345,20m.

Main girders are prestressed reinforced box girders. On middle span, provided for the vessels traffic, are designed two movable steel bridges in literature known as bascule bridge. Rotation angle of those steel bridges is 65 degrees.

Main girder is built with incremental launching method. Launching of mutually attached concrete and steel main girders is performed with hydraulic presses over previously built piers. Incremental launching method allows building the superstructure in segments which are placed in the same place and in the same formwork. After prestressing the segment is launched with hydraulic presses in new position. In that way the formwork is released for new segment.

Bridge over river Tara - Kolašin

Chief designer: Duško Bobera dipl.inž.građ.

Bridge and connection road are placed approximately 1km from south entrance in city of Kolašin. Road connects main road M-9 Kolašin-Mateševo and Adriatic road M-2 Podgorica-Bijelo Polje.

Road begins with 300m long and 11m high embankment, continues with 99.5m long bridge after which follows connection to Adriatic road M-2. Total length of the road is 441.66m. It is two way road with one traffic lane 3.25m wide and one marginal strip 0.30m wide in each direction. On both sides sidewalks (1.5m) and shoulders (0.5m) were designed. Total cross section width of road is 11.10m.

Bridge is structure made of prestressed and reinforced concrete with spans L= 33.03 + 34.49 + 33.00 = 99.51m. Main girder cross section consists of prefabricated prestressed T-girders 1.8m high which are joined with slab of reinforced concrete cast in-situ. Minimal thickness of concrete slab is 20cm. Above piers and abutments, pre-cast T-girders, slab and cross girders are joined in monolith structure. Space between pre-cast T-girders is 2cm which allows concreting the slab without trapped formwork.

Viaduct at km 51+963, highway E-763 - Ub-Lajkovac

Chief designer: Duško Bobera dipl.inž.građ.

Viaduct is located on the section Ub-Lajkovac of highway E-763 Belgrade-Požega and overpasses railway Belgrade-Bar, main road M4 Valjevo-Lajkovac and Lajkovac bypass. This section of highway is in horizontal curve with radius R=1500m, vertical grade is constant 2% and cross grade is 5%.

Main girder is continuous, pre stressed box girder with constant height of 2.50m. Total length of viaduct is 25.0 + 11 x 32.0 + 25.0 = 402.0 m. Piers are rectangular with dimensions 1.20x6.00m funded on piles with diameter of 150cm.

Main girder is built with incremental launching method. Launching of main girder is performed with hydraulic presses over previously built piers. Incremental launching method allows building the superstructure in segments which are placed in the same place. After prestressing the segment is launched with hydraulic presses in new position. In that way the formwork is released for new segment.

In order to enable building the structure with incremental launching method it was necessary to correct vertical alignment of the highway at length of 1475m. Namely, for this method of building, if structure is in horizontal curve the vertical alignment must be in constant grade.

Bridge at km 587+468 Belgrad bypass

Chief designer: Duško Bobera dipl.inž.građ.

Bypass with bridge 631.54m in length crosses over river Topčiderka, double track railway Belgrade-Niš, one track railway Belgrade-Ostružnica and future railway station Kijevo. Till km 587+828 bridge is in straight line and after that in horizontal curve with radius R=4000m. Vertical alignment is in constant grade of 1.6% toward tunnel Straževica. Cross grade of 2.5% is constant at whole bridge.
